Post Gunwalker R/C Toy Robot
Has anyone bought one of these? I'd like to know if it's worth the money.

It's a Gunwalker 1/35 scale R/C Battle Robot. I've seen them on ebay for around $300.00.

Post what i think of the gunwalker....
ok well i got the gunwalker now.. here is what i think of it.
when i first open the box i could wait to get the robot out of it. :D you have to put the arms & other parts together like a model,as well as paint some of the parts etc. that part was cool and fun, something i done with my 2 boys. :D
the bad thing about it is that it walks like a windup toy, kinda sucky... :( the arms & head does not move, it can only walk on its metal platform or you could also make one with a larger sheet of tin or steel for it to walk on just as long as you can stick a magnet to it, it will work. if you watch the video you could see how it walks.http://www.rccarction/videos/gunwalker.ZIP the video is miss leading, the gun does not flash(fire) the head, arms dont move & it does not home in on it's target. it just walks..... thats it.... i open the gunwalker up to see how it worked... it works off of 1 dc motor & lots of gears. the location of the on/off switch is in a very bad spot, over the battery compartment. the wires to the on/off switch break very easy as well, i had to resolder the wires already because of it. i feel if you want to get one of these, you really should think about it. because i feel you might be disappointed as i am in it. it's nothing what i thought it was. you would be better off getting a robosapien v2 even a v1 for what your going to spend to get a bipedal robot. they are better then this gunwalker. at least the robosapiens can do more things & alot more things on it move.

if i knew it was like this i dont think i would have spent my money on it. even tho i only spent 120.00 for the item. i feel i wasted my money. the only good thing about the robot is it's very cool looking, & the eye (led) lights up. good for a display item. really nothing else.... i guess i got my self a good display item to add to my robot collection..

well thats what i think of the gunwalker...
